This mass-market Instamatic camera was made for Bell & Howell in the U.S. under an original equipment manufacturing (OEM) contract.
It featured Canon's electronically controlled program shutter and a 40mm f/3.5 lens with 3 elements in 3 groups. Full automatic program EE was incorporated for exposure control. Focus adjustment was made with pictographs for near, medium, and far distances.
